Latin Moves Returns!
Tuesday Evenings: Get your aerobic workout with us at 6:00 p.m. Using a combination of dance steps, we'll warm you up, make you sweat then cool you down all while learning and practicing dance steps found in a variety of Latin dances. This is a unique 50 minute workout design and choreographed by Dana Edwards that you'll not want to miss.
Especially for Beginners
If you have ever wanted to try ballroom dancing, we offer a special two 25 minute introductory lessons for just $20. You'll schedule a lesson on two different days with one of our teachers and learn several basic steps in any one or more of these dances; Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing or Salsa. This is a great way for beginners to experience ballroom dancing in an instructional setting.
Ballroom Group Classes
Just $5 per person! Join us at 7:00 p.m. most Monday and Thursday evenings and learn various ballroom dances. We start with the very basic steps on Monday for the selected ballroom dance of the week. Then on Thursday, we continue with the same dance with more focus on technique and timing. Join us and learn something new each week. Special group class discounts apply.
Salsa is danced with a partner while Rueda incorporates Salsa steps with changing partners in a circular formation. Our classes sequence through a curriculum of steps that eventually repeat, giving you plenty of opportunity to refresh your memory, work on your timing and perfect your styling. Only $5 per person per 50 minute class!
- Start with the very basic steps of beginner Salsa or beginner Rueda on MONDAY nights. Both group classes start at 8:00 p.m. right after our normal 7:00 p.m. ballroom group class.
- After becoming proficient with the basics of Salsa, come to our Advanced Salsa class on SUNDAY at 6:00 p.m. This class introduces complex Salsa steps, arm styling and timing.
- Finally, stay for our Advanced Rueda class on SUNDAY at 7:00 p.m. right after our normal 6:00 p.m. Advanced Salsa group class. This Rueda class requires prior knowledge of partner changes, synchronized styling and rhythm coordination with the Salsa steps. So that all students can get the most from their time in class, we ask that you review your Salsa steps with our instructor before participating in the Rueda circle.
